I love wearing my CUI wear ostomy support belt so much so I have them in a few colours! I’ve used it running, walking and home exercising. It keeps everything secure and makes me feel very supported while I’m moving. It never rolls down or rides up. My stoma nurses recommended me to get one after I said I wanted to start exercising again. They booked me an appointment to get measured. Amazing that you can get them on prescription too!

I am new to CUI as my previous supplier did not let me know they were no longer supplying NHS Prescriptions. I contacted Raine who sent me brochures and arranged for my prescription. My underwear arrived last week and the quality is very good plus they are 100% cotton.

I review newly formed stoma’s post-operatively & also established Ostomists in the Community. When I have a patient with potential of developing a parastomal hernia or established patients that have developed a hernia I always refer to CUI for abdominal support. Within my area I use Kerry who always communicates well with me & reviews my patients quickly. Kerry always updates me after she has seen the patient & if there are any ordering issues she resolves them. Patients always find Kerry very helpful & accessible if they have any concerns. CUI offer an excellent service to the patient but it also enables myself as a healthcare professional to offer my patients extra support that will benefit their long term recovery & enhance their quality of life.

I was very impressed with the new support belt; from the first moment I took it out of the packet it felt like a more luxurious support belt. I liked the feel of it against my skin. I liked the look of it under my clothes. I liked the way it didn’t curl at the bottom or the top of the belt and it stayed in place. The elastic at the top and bottom felt smoother against my skin and the material felt soft against the skin. It washes lovely and keeps its shape.

I was given this vest to help my recovery from open heart surgery. This product really did its job. I felt a sense of security. I knew my chest had been opened and I felt the vest gave me both a physical and psychological feeling of comfort knowing everything was being carefully supported. I know that wounds need to be kept closed to heal I know I had staples but it felt like the vest gave extra support stopping any movement or coughing from opening my wound. It felt comfortable and was easily put on. I really liked the mitten application idea. It was easy to get the correct pressure I wanted on my chest. It reduced my pain level to a certain extent. I did not like taking it off. I felt overall much more confident and comfortable while wearing the vest. My
wife could also easily wash it in the home washing machine with no problem.

I actually would have really not been happy going through open heart surgery without that vest and anybody going in for that operation should know about that vest because without it the whole experience would have been more painful,
uncomfortable both physically and psychologically.
